OPTIMALISASI PERAWAT DALAM IMPLEMENTASI SUPERVISI KEPERAWATAN DI RUANG PUNAI RUMAH SAKIT SIMPANG LIMA GUMUL KEDIRI

To improve nursing services to patients, control and supervision of nurse performance is needed through direct and indirect nursing supervision. The purpose of nursing supervision is to improve nurse skills and provide satisfaction with nursing services to patients. The implementation of supervision is carried out when the action is in the form of nursing skills, whether there are problems or not and also indirect supervision in the form of supervision of nursing care documents. The implementation of supervision has been carried out both directly and indirectly. The problem that arises is that there is no planning and implementation of 60% according to the SOP, so socialization and assistance are needed in the implementation of supervision to be optimal. The implementation of this community service activity consists of four stages, namely the socialization stage of the SOP for nurses, the role play stage of implementing supervision in the ward, especially the punai room, and the evaluation stage of the implementation of supervision. The results of the evaluation of this activity showed that nurses' knowledge increased with the ability to make plans for the implementation of supervision, according to the SOP, as many as 81.4% of active participants in the discussion. The results of the evaluation of the supervision implementation assistance obtained 82.5% according to the SOP, namely direct and indirect supervision. This community service activity is able to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of nursing services in hospitals. It is expected that other training to improve the ability of nurses can continue to be implemented as a form of cooperation between academic nurses and practitioners. This community service activity is also expected to bridge the implementation of nursing theory and concepts technically in health services.
