Pelatihan Pertolongan Pertama Luka Kecelakaan Terhadap Kemampuan Kognitif Dan Psikomotor Kader Kesehatan Dalam Menangani Luka Kecelakaan

Victims of accidents can get worse if not dealt with quickly in the first hour, which is a very important time in handling rescue of accident victims. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect before and after being given training first aid in handling accident wound to cognitive and psychomotor abilities of accident wound management in health cadres. The design of this study used Pre-experimental design with the design of one group Pre-Test Post-test. The sampling technique used was Non-Probability Sampling with 25 respondents. Based on the results of the statistical test of this study using the paired t-test statistical test there is an effect of training on cognitive and psychomotor abilities with P-value 0,000 or <α = 0.05. It can be concluded that training can improve cognitive and psychomotor abilities. So that this training is very appropriate to be used in the learning process in order to improve cognitive and psychomotor abilities in Health Cadres in Karangsono village, Sukorejo. From the results of this study, it is expected that the intervention can be used as a strategy in handling first aid accident wounds in accident victims.
