Implementasi Terapi Guided Imagery Terhadap Penurunan Kecemasan pada Pasien Stroke

Pasien stroke yang sedang menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit menunjukkan gejala kecemasan, sehingga memerlukan intervensi berupa terapi Guided Imagery untuk membantu mengurangi tingkat kecemasan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologisnya. Tujuan peneltian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah implementasi terapi Guide Imagery terhadap pasien stroke di Rumah Sakit Tk.II Dr. Soepraoen Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus deskriptif yang mengidentifikasi kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah implementasi terapi Guided Imagery pada pasien stroke menggunakan pengukuran kecemasan Generelized Anciety Disorder dengan jumlah subjek penelitian 2 orang dan dilaksanakan selama 6 kali pertemuan dalam waktu 14 hari. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil pengukuran kecemasan sebelum implementasi terapi Guide Imagery pada kedua subjek menunjukkan hasil nilai 13 (kecemasan sedang) pada subjek 1. Nilai 12 (kecemasan sedang) pada subjek 2. Pengukuran kecemasan sesudah implementasi terapi Guide Imagery pada kedua subjek mengalami penurunan dari sebelumnya, hasil nilai 4 = (kecemasan ringan) pada subjek 1. Hasil nilai 4 = (kecemasan ringan) pada subjek 2. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi terapi Guide Imagery pada pasien stroke dapat menurunkan kecemasan yang berlebih. Berdasarkan penelitian ini untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dalam pemilihan kriteria subjek penelitian yang homogen sehingga hasil yang didapatkan lebih maksimal.
